Pepper chicken is one of the most easiest and tastiest chicken dish which I love the most. This goes perfectly well with all the prime dishes like chappatis, rice, dosa or even idiappam. I generally like to use more pepper in my dishes rather than the red chilly powder. So obviously, pepper chicken is a dish where ground pepper dominates a lot. The taste is very good and spicy enough. This is a dish which I would recommend when you have fever or cold because those bad boys are not going to stay longer if you eat this spicy chicken dish.

Cut the chicken into small pieces and thoroughly wash it under water.
Marinate these chicken pieces with turmeric, pepper and salt. Add some lime juice to soften the chicken pieces.
Heat the pan, pour canola oil.
Add ginger and garlic, chopped onions and sautee until they are golden brown.
Add some salt to it so that the onions become brown more faster.
Once the onions are suateed, add the tomatoes to this mixture. Keep stirring them until the tomatoes are mushy.
Add coriander powder , garam masala, turmeric powder and chicken masala.
Once the paste is ready, add the marinated chicken pieces. Add more pepper to add spiceness.
Now add a cup of water and cook the chicken in medium flame.
Now try to cook the chicken keeping the lid open so that the gravy becomes thick. Add salt as per taste.
Add curry leaves to this dish and it is ready to serve.
