Crab meat is good for health. It is the best solution to get rid of cold and fever. And what if the climate is chilly and windy outside? Then you should definitely go to your nearby grocery store and grab a live crab and cook’em up. No kidding! this is what I did yesterday. I was watching some cookery shows on the television and I craved for some juicy crab meat curry. I din’t want to waste even a moment, quickly dialed my Mother In Law – an expert in cooking crab and asked her for crab curry recipe. My husband bought a big Dungeness crab from the local Asian market and within no time a lipsmacking crab curry was ready in my kitchen. Wow! I totally loved the outcome. And here I am sharing this sumptuous recipe with you all.
What is a Dungeness crab?
Dungeness crab is a species of crab that inhabits eelgrass beds and water bottoms on the west coast of North America. So being in Oregon never stops me from buying this variety of crab because I get them fresh and live from the water. The crab season typically starts from December to August and there are 6 major ports running the length of Oregon coast from Astoria to Brookings.
